What began in 1992 with a clear conviction — that educating a woman uplifts a whole community — has grown into one of Tamil Nadu’s most comprehensive family of institutions for women.
Founded and led by Prof. Dr. M. Karunanithi — an educationist, philanthropist, chemist and industrialist — Vivekanandha spans medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, physiotherapy, naturopathy, engineering, the arts and teacher education, all under one guiding purpose: to give young women a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
